Strange Secret for Creating Customers who Make it A Custom From Buying From You

Actually, there is NO strange secret.

However, what's actually strange about it, is why most businesses of all stripes, kinds and sizes...pay so little attention to it.

Even though this hidden in plain sight secret is widely open to all.

And so what is this not so strange, secret?

Here's the ZERO drum roll version --

Communicate more frequently with interesting things to say and convey.

GASP!

That's your not so strange or schexy secret for you, in a plump nutshell.

Communicate more frequently.

And... don't make it boring.

Now you can fight against that all you want.

But look...

Can it be any more simpler?

Can it be any less complicated?

Well...

Guess what?

It seems there's a high value placed on complex and technical.

Meaning...

If it's not got a dozen moving parts and if there aren't a gazillion bells and whistles to make the whole system work, then it can't be any good. It can't be worth wasting time and money on it. Can't be producing any kind of meaningful results.

(See here how incredibly money-making-important it is to have regular communications with freshness and interesting info baked right into it)

Look for more sophisticated systems and strategies all you like, if that's your thing.

But...

You simply can't get a better and more profitable system working for you in your business, than communicating more, and doing it in interesting, unique, non-boring ways.

Because guess what happens when you show up consistently, and when you show up with intrigue and interest, and freshness?

What happens is the people you're communicating to, want more of it.

Why?

Because you're probably the only fresh and delightful voice in their life -- a life that's pretty much filled with clichés, and automations, and boring disinterest they get at every turn of the electronic life they lead.

They need their communication fix.

And so...

When you communicate more frequently, with a zest and juicy freshness they can't get anywhere else, and you tie that in with your products and services, it all becomes an irresistible proposition for your listening and reading audience.

And that means there's a higher probability they'll buy from you, more times, and... they'll be open and free to hear about your higher end products and services, without having to feel they've been cornered by a used car salesman pummeling them from all angles.

Not a particularly bad result from a simple one two system of communicating more often, and having new and fresh things to say!

Go for the glorious complex, if that's what you and your business wants.

Go for the canned personality versions AI is flooding all markets with, if that's what you and your business wants.

Go for the obvious delays and stalling that naturally occurs when you've a complex and complicated strategy that you find you're continually plucking at and tinkering with...if that's what you and your business wants.

It's your ship to steer.

You can choose complicated and complex, or simple and straightforward.

Whatever you choose, make buying from you... a joyful custom

How you can get more of your customers, prospects & subscribers addicted to reading (and buying from) your emails

Ever witnessed someone who’s just addicted to something?

They’re rabid, irrational, and sometimes, beyond reasoning with, aren’t they?

Take golfers as an example; they’ll do anything, spend anything, try anything, just to lower their score or hit a drive as straight as an arrow – they’re addicted to getting every kind of tool, insight, information, resources that they can lay their hands on.

Now you can if you want, create a similar insatiable addiction so your subscribers, prospects and clients have for reading your emails.

Possible?

Well think about this for a second; email is simply a way of communicating using a medium, just like reading a book or watching your favourite tv programme, is. And have you ever been rabid about a programme or a book or magazine where you just simply have to know what the next instalment is all about?

It's just like that for email, if you set it all up right.

So let's think about this; what does your email have to contain in order to have your customers itching to receive your email communications?

The first thing is that you must know at a deep core level, are the pains, the frustrations, the problems your marketplace and your customers are experiencing.

Because, once you know this important information, you can then speak directly, sincerely and with authority, where you can tie your communications together by showing how your products and services can fix the equivalent of a poor wayward drive or a sloppy chip shot or a finely tuned mindset when the putt absolutely has to go in the hole.

If you can do that, and you can do that in language and in a voice that’s sincere, that’s authentic, that’s believable, you’ll have a following who’ll be addicted to what you have to say next. They’ll be hanging on your every word. And, just like a soap opera saga that runs and runs; your audience just has to find out what the next instalment is, what the next cure is, what the next surprise will be. What the next whacky zany story or account is going to be.

They’ll be addicted in wanting to hear from you because you’ve established your credentials, you're showing up frequently, you're not just smacking them over the head with continual blatant saleszee messages - you're now perceived as someone who is genuinely interested in what they are going through and in turn, your audience will have confidence in your products and services because as a default of the process, they’ll automatically perceive your products and services will help them fix and solve their burning issues and problems.

Can anyone in any business use this email addiction strategy?

Yes, I think so. However, this kind of good addiction cannot happen if there’s no personality or no identifiable character that an audience can identify with or feel an affinity with.

It just can’t happen without it.

An audience needs to have a deep synchronicity with the business/business owner (and vice-versa) for there to be this rabid, insatiable addiction to the communications.

And the great thing about email is that a business’s personality and character can be built, communicated and transferred via simple, continual, plain text communications, and, where in a short space of time, the audience (customers/subscribers/prospects) will become trained, steered, addicted to receiving your email communications.

Of course, it’ll only last as long as you have something valuable to say that is addiction worthy and, that is communicated in a consistent and timely way.

And that’s the way to do it because you don’t want to communicate in a run of the mill way and be perceived as just an average or normal marketer.

Because that's what'll happen when you aren't adding any kind of value or joy to your readers through your communications. You'll be classed, bracketed, pigeon-holed as someone who's not really worthy of being passed around and referred.

And you'll know when your creating hyper addictive email communications is when you skip a few days of sending your email communications- and you get mail saying (either openly, or saying it inwardly to themselves)...

... where is today’s email, did I miss it, did you send it yet, it’s not gone into the junk folder, can you send it again…

It takes a continual commitment and deep down desire to relate and connect.

And believe it or not,, it’s this very discipline that'll determine how high and how profitable a business can really be -- with the simple email being at the engine room of the entire communication process.

The BIG question --

How's your email communications working for you?

How to Drive More Cash-flow Into Your Business Without Spending Any Additional Money on Advertising

"SPEND SPEND SPEND on more advertising to drive more cashflow into your business!"

No!

You don't do any of that.

You can drive more cash flow into your business without spending any additional money on advertising.

How is it done?
Stick around, I'll show you how to do it.

1. First way; gather all those names of people who have inquired about your business or service but, haven't yet bought.

Then, what you do with the names is send those people a communication and ask them what you can do to help them. They raised their hands for a reason in the first place, but it doesn't mean they've had their problem solved. It doesn't mean they're still not interested. It doesn't mean that they've found a provider they're happy with.

You don't know any of that.

Find out. There's plenty of money to be made in those who've enquired but didn't buy.

What else?

2. Those past customers of your who haven't bought in x months or x years. Send them a 'we miss you'... 'we want you back' reactivation letter.
We don't necessarily go back to a place of business, and it's because of a few reasons.

However, if we're contacted or communicated to about a special deal and the communication is sincere and it's respectful and it's from the heart, we'll more than likely check out what's on offer.

Same is true for your business and services. You've got past clients and customers who haven't been in touch with you because... you've not been in touch.

Get back in touch. Fast. You'll be surprised at what happens.

3. Done great work for your existing clients or customers?

Then don't you want the same kind of customers as those, the kind you've already helped and served?

If you've agreed, then put a formalised, systematised referral system in process.

There's a ton of money waiting for you inside the relationships associations and connections of your existing customers. Tap it.Work it. You'll get more business.

4. Already spending fixed cost money on advertising and marketing?
Then don't spend anymore. Just fix your current advertising and written communications and you'll get better results.

What should you look for when making those changes?

Begin with the following;

>>> Does a potential customer know the ad or communication is targeted to them? If not, ensure your target prospect is precisely mentioned in the  pre-headline, headline or sub-headline.

>>> What's the biggest benefit your customers will get? Specify, demonstrate, put that in your ads.

>>> How stilted, stunted and jargonified are your words in your ads and promotions? Very? Then change them. Use simple clear words and your communications will connect better with your reader and in turn, lead to a better response in terms of sales and profits.

>>> Prospects know explicitly what to do to make an order? If not, spell out the ABC steps. Be clear. Be specific. Be unambiguous.

5. What other, non-competing business has your specific customer as their customers, also?

Make a list. Send the owner of the other business a communication about a possible joint venture between you and them where you get to access their existing customer database.

They've already done the hard work. They've built their business. They've got the customers who are perfect prospects for your products or services - and - for the cost of an email (zero cost) or a letter (very little cost) you'll have the opportunity to access a new pool of customers, a number of whom will turn out to be new paying customers of yours.

Let me repeat again;

You do NOT need to spend heaps and heaps on getting new customers and spending MORE money to get them. (You will however, find an increasing number of consultants and agencies who'll tell you anything to get you spend spend spend on new advertising... anything.)

When you begin employing the above, low to zero cost strategies, you'll see how you can grow your business, get more cash flowing in... all with a little bit of action, agility and ingenuity.

And, importantly, you can do it all without you ever needing to break the bank.

Don't simply read about these strategies - employ them - they'll make you money and in turn, I'll get to hear from you.

How to Fix Tesco's Royal Screw Up

If you know how to fix the problems in your OWN Biz, you'll carve out stealth like money solutions for Tesco, also.

Far fetched?

No, not really.

Because what is Tesco?

Nothing more than a provider of goods and services to people who buy them. Though, done on a grander scale than most businesses.

If you switched on your favourite media news source today - June 4th 2014 - you may have heard that Tesco has tossed away around 25 million in sales...EVERY WEEK... for the last quarter!

No eye adjustments needed.

There are 1 million LESS visits to Tesco a week than compared to last quarter.

They've got Aldi chomping up a section of the market.

So, what is Philip Clarke, Tesco MD, to do?

Well, first, he's got to do away with the numbskull' advisers' he depends on to fix the problems.

Because, what reportedly came out of Clarke's mouth today, couldn't have been of his own making. (Or could it!)

He says Tesco is going to increase the ante to promote and sell a whole lot of other items; insurance, banking, clothes, music, eyewear, techno gizmos - the whole shebang.

He intends to... sell everything, to everyone.

Oh dear.

Marketing 101, out of the window.

If you try to be all things to everyone, you'll be seen as nothing to no-one.

And so it's proved.

Especially because, Tesco does not know WHO their customer is.

And, even if they THINK they know WHO their customer is, their LOYALTY card system isn't doing its job.

Because look, the proof is in the fact that there are 1 million LESS visits to Tesco stores a week.

That equates to £25 per customer that's danced out of the stores.

The problem with Tesco is they're trying to be an Amazon equivalent, though with no personality behind the whole experience.

Sure, we may not know Jeff Bozos personally, though we do have more of an affinity with Amazon than we
may with a Tesco.

The name of the game is making the experience a really good one for a customer.

>>> It's having the customer feel inside; I like this place and I'm committed to this being my local retail hangout.

>>> It's about having shop floor staff being unprecedentedly AMAZING in their commitment to help and serve the customer.

>>> It's about CREATING amazing offers that aren't necessarily based on 'lowest price in town' as is the case with Morrisson's and their promotions about being cheap cheap cheap... which in turn, brings on many other problems

>>> It's about listening to a customer and finding out what's having them NOT come into the stores.

>>> It's about creating a USP that distinctly differentiates Tesco from all other players in the same market space.

>>> It's about creating infectious, personality driven marketing, communications, adverts.

The above will help Tesco.

Maybe if this mail gets to the head honchos in Tesco HQ, they'll think about employing these strategies and
will in turn, want to hire me to help them strategise and implement!

Importantly for YOU;

What can you take from here and employ into your business to fix what Tesco, hasn't yet?

www.RajaHireker.com/bleeding.pdf

P.S Did you know that it's reported one of the biggest drops in revenue for a business is by staff, STEALING?  With Tesco, being the mammoth Goliath it is, it wouldn't surprise anyone if there's mucho currency being shoveled into the pocketsof Tesco employees by way of produce.

Big Brand Advertising Stupidity (McCains)

Another vast display of big brand stupidity, lacklustre imaginations and big money waste.

This time, McCains.

Look at this full page newspaper ad in today's paper.

The creative sparks at the ad agency advertising and promoting McCain's chips, came up with this masterpiece to get us, hopefully, to buy 'happy days'.

How incredibly UN-original.

It's no wonder small and medium sized businesses are in a marketing and advertising mess because of emulating the big Company waste and sloth in creating 'brand building advertising'.

Now McCains may be already doing great business, (and yes, their chips are great) but wouldn't they be even more profitable if they had smart, savvy, direct response marketing replacing this image type idiocy?

They're settling for advertising and marketing mediocrity. Maybe even less than that! (That's what happens when you have a bundle of money to throw at an ad agency - because in return, they'll invariably throw a lot of tripe back, with no-one really made accountable or really concerned about where the money went)

If those responsible for creating this, and the various New Year McCain's advertising promotions for their chips, had THEIR own money on the line, they'd rethink what they'd originally thunk. They'd be doing what they can to come up with the best, most profitable advertising they could create.

Maybe.

So how would direct response fix this waste-of-money ad?

By having readers cut out a try'n buy coupon, by driving them to a website for special offers, by getting people to submit they most 'happy meal McCain combination' with a prize for entering AND, a big splash prize for the winner, by tracking what ad created what results.

Alas, they (McCains and their hired marketing muscle) don't GET that the business IS in creating a customer that stays, and therefore buys, for life.

No better way to do that than by engaging them and then, communicating to them regularly - and NOT with riddle based junk and snappy slogans that we 'hope' a reader, prospect, foodie, will somehow decipher, make sense of and then, have a long lasting affinity and love affair with us.

That's the hit' n hope school of marketing wizardry.

There are plenty of subscribers and attendees in that school. We just need look around at the advertising and marketing incompetence we see all around us to find that to be, right on the money.

Products, businesses, companies... all have to continually earn the custom of their consumers, regularly. Taking readers, prospects and customers for granted... by delivering nonsense based advertising, devoid of any kind of offer, without any deadline or timeline to respond, with sloppy or non existent advertising copy, without any means of tracking how much the ad was responsible for sales and customers... is all lazy, incompetent and therefore, a less profitable solution.

OPTICAL EXPRESS -- Sloppy, Confused Text Communication Marketing

You would think BIG companies would hire 'marketing people' who know how to think, how to structure a simple communication.

SADLY, it generally seems to be the case that the BIGGER the company, the DUMBER they are.

Here's a mobile marketing message received, today, 7, Jan 2014 at 12.16pm London time, from OPTICAL EXPRESS;

Are you the laser eye surgery winner?
Reply EYES to enter at standard text cost.
Draw entry free. To opt out reply STOP.
+HappyNewYou

To me, the opening suggests I've ALREADY been entered, and, their opening question would then lead to let me know what to do next to find out IF I am the winner.

But no.

They're now asking me to ENTER the competition!

Mixed messages cause confusion.

In the recipient's mind. As well as thinking how confused the sender, is. (Which consciously or unconsciously, has one thinking if the service or product to be delivered, will also be a catalogue of mixed confusion as well)

It would have been a more congruent message all round if the simple line;

Could you be the laser eye surgery winner? ... was written.

And how about the line  -- Draw entry free.

That could be made better, more fluid, more pleasing to the eye by saying... FREE to enter.

And how about the HappyNewYou ending?

How about a timely Happy New Year, instead.

Simple words, structured well, matter. A LOT.

However, it's the thinking that precedes the action so THAT'S what needs fixing.

Don't settle for incompetent, sloppy, cant-be-bothered advertising and marketing in YOUR business, no matter what size it is, no matter how profitable you currently are. It WILL cost you sales and customers.

If you copy BARRATTS Shoes you'll kill your business DEAD‏

If you copy the BARRATTS philosophy, marketing
and they way they think about business, guess what;
you'll kill your business!
------------------------------------------------------------------
Good marketing cannot fix BAD, inaccurate thinking.

If you have friends or family connected to the shoe firm
Barratts, they're suffering through no fault of their own.

If not friends or family, spare a thought for those poor Barratt
souls who are at the mercy of those who have been paid to
run the company.

Barratts Shoes is in administration for the third time in
four years, with more than 1,000 jobs now at risk.

It's not the 'worker's' fault.

Those at the top of the company?

Their poor decisions, their poor marketing know how,
their lack of finding solutions; THAT'S where the EXACT
problem lies.

And look, it's easy to dish out the following line;

"Difficult trading conditions in the sector led the directors
to explore potential refinancing options and additional
equity for the business."
Now here's a BIG question:

What would those nitwits at Barratts do with MORE money?

It seems as they've no real strategy to make the
business profitable, they'd be using that money to pay people
who aren't savvy or swift enough to find accurate, implementable
solutions.

It'd be a complete and utter waste; pumping more money into a
business where there's no CLUE going on about how to serve
the most important people who could bail them out of the mess;

THEIR CUSTOMERS!

Here's the problem; customers aren't buying.

Reason why? There's no brand affinity, no spectacular buying experience
for the customer, no incredible offers made on a consistent basis,
no astonishing service, no difference or distinction made as to WHY
Barratts as compared to other shoe retailers.

Solution: -->Start breaking up their customer lists into various segments
and then, start creating specific versioned communications that
are just for them. (Men, women, children, seniors, specific type of
shoe purchased, amount of cumulative spend, etc)
--> Create sensational packaged bundles of products with higher value
price tags, and sending elaborate thank you messages via personal
letters.
--> Re-iterate to the past and present customers WHAT Barratts stand for,
why we're different, why it's of great importance to continue to shop
with Barratts because of our astonishing levels of personalised
customer service.
--> Train, coach and motivate ALL staff to ensure customers
are treated like VIPs. Get get rid of staff who are incompetent,
inefficient and who couldn't give a damn about what Barratts
stand for.
--> Create joint ventures with complimentary service and product
firms where further streams of income could be created.
--> Create a membership or continuity type programme where
subscribers will be eligible for a SHOE OF THE MONTH selection,
along with a compellingly written newsletter.
--> Turn all ads and marketing messages into direct response
type communications and ruthlessly fire the current communications
or ad agency if they cannot create such marketing. Find one
who CAN.

----------------------------------

Those running the show at Barratts took NO responsibility
to fix the problem. apart from the strategy of let's look for another
buyer or investor so we can saddle the whole sorry mess WE created,
onto THEM!

This incapacity for solution based, responsible action, this
moral stupidity, this unwillingness to find a solution UNTIL...
it's this disease that's rampant through the minds of businesses
owners, executives and marketing people... of all kinds.

And it's not as if this scenario crept up on the Barratts
brigade one fine night whilst they were all sleeping. That didn't happen.

It was simply that THEY didn't happen.

They'd been hiding this exploding bomb for some time.

Though, chose to NOT find solutions to detonate it.

Especially the ones... that WORK.

They weren't committed to that.

And, when you take little to ZERO responsibility, you have
...little to ZERO control.

And so when that happens, there's a wonderful tendency to
point fingers to everything and everyone OUTSIDE of their
comfort area.

It's easy to blame the economy, the competition, the
red tape, the distribution, the manufacturers... that's
EASY to do.

But see, I don't think they were paid for that kind of thinking,
that kind of strategy, that kind of solution.

The ASSET is the customer, though these Barratt nitwits
didn't do a thing about treating it as the asset it is, and so...

...because of their inept decisions and their inept way of looking
at the the problem and their inept way of creating solutions...

...they've put the lives and security of many many people,
into utter desperate panic.

If you yourself own, or have an interest in a business or venture.

A SUGGESTION:
Do NOT copy Barratts approach, attitude & excuse making
when it comes to fixing and solving business and
marketing problems because, if you do, like them, you too will be
heading into turbulent waters with the Titanic and the
Titanic captain as your guidance and support system.

Raja
www.RajaHireker.com

And if you're connected with anyone in the Barratts upper hierarchy
forward them this mail because I'm certain there's
a valuable lifeline in the solution section I've outlined above.
